2025 Honda Odyssey: From Sporty to Luxurious, New Trim Levels Cater to Diverse Family Needs

Honda has revealed details of the updated 2025 Odyssey minivan, featuring refreshed styling, new technology, and enhanced features across the lineup. Set to arrive at Canadian dealerships this summer, the 2025 Odyssey aims to build on its reputation as a versatile family vehicle.

Exterior Design Updates

The 2025 Odyssey sports a revised exterior design, including a new grille and reshaped front and rear fascias that emphasize the vehicle's wide stance. Black fog light surrounds and a redesigned rear bumper with vertical reflectors add a more premium look. New wheel designs are available across all trims, with the top-tier Black Edition receiving 19-inch black alloy wheels. A new exterior colour option, Solar Silver Metallic, joins the palette.

Interior Technology Enhancements

Inside, the Odyssey receives significant technology upgrades. A new 7-inch digital instrument display is now standard, featuring a digital tachometer and physical speedometer. The display allows for user-selectable functions, including Honda Sensing settings and vehicle information.

All 2025 Odyssey models are equipped with a 9-inch colour touchscreen featuring a faster processor, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and additional USB-C ports throughout the cabin.

The rear entertainment system has been overhauled with a larger 12.8-inch high-resolution screen. The HDMI plug has been relocated to the console interior, which now includes dedicated storage for streaming devices.

Trim Levels and Features

The 2025 Odyssey will be available in four trim levels: Sport, Sport-L, Touring, and Black Edition.

The base Sport trim includes the new digital instrument display, one-touch power moonroof, heated power-adjustable front seats, heated steering wheel, and Magic Slide second-row seats.

Sport-L adds blacked-out exterior styling, black leather interior with red contrast stitching, illuminated red footwells and door handles, and third-row USB-C ports and sunshades.

The Touring trim, arriving in winter, features a satellite-linked navigation system, CabinWatch child viewing system, ventilated front seats, premium audio, hands-free power tailgate, and 19-inch machine-finish alloy wheels.

The Black Edition tops the range with perforated leather seats with red stitching, unique floor mats, and gloss black exterior trim.

Powertrain and Safety

All 2025 Odyssey models are powered by a 280-horsepower V6 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy ratings are consistent across all trims at 12.2 L/100 km city, 8.5 L/100 km highway, and 10.6 L/100 km combined.

The Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies comes standard on all trims, including Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keeping Assist, Road Departure Mitigation, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow.

Pricing and Availability

The 2025 Honda Odyssey will be available at Canadian dealerships starting this summer, with the Touring trim arriving in winter. Pricing starts at $49,920 MSRP for the Sport trim, ranging up to $60,120 MSRP for the Black Edition.

With its refreshed styling, updated technology, and enhanced features, the 2025 Honda Odyssey aims to maintain its position as a leading choice in the minivan segment for Canadian families.
