Honda Launches 'Honda 0' EV Series Featuring Groundbreaking Concepts at CES

In a significant move, Honda has revealed its new global electric vehicle series, dubbed the "Honda 0 Series," set for its initial release in 2026. The unveiling included the first look at two concept vehicles, the Saloon and Space-Hub, during CES 2024. These vehicles symbolize Honda's dedication to advancing EV technology and signal a pivotal change in the company’s approach to vehicle design and technology.

Revolutionizing Design and Technology

The Honda 0 Series is headlined by the Saloon, a model that exemplifies Honda's innovative take on EV design and engineering. Utilizing a dedicated EV platform, the Saloon is a testament to the "M/M" (man maximum/machine minimum) concept, featuring a sleek, low-profile exterior and a roomy interior. It incorporates sustainable materials, aligning with current environmental trends. Notably, the Saloon introduces a new steer-by-wire system and advanced motion control management, showcasing Honda's prowess in robotics and its commitment to elevating the EV driving experience.

Alternatively, the Space-Hub is crafted under the concept of "enhancing daily life." It boasts a large cabin and impressive visibility, adhering to the “Thin, Light, and Wise” development philosophy. This model is designed to be a multifunctional space, fostering connectivity and interactive experiences.

Introducing a New Honda “H” Emblem and the Series

In line with its next-generation EV models, Honda has also introduced a refreshed H mark logo. This new logo represents Honda's transformation and unwavering commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.

The Honda 0 Series marks a new era in electrified vehicle development, with the initial models set to arrive in North America in 2026. Centered around the principles of Thin, Light, and Wise, the series challenges traditional EV design norms. It emphasizes new design ideologies, automated driving technology, connectivity, performance, and battery efficiency.

Embracing Future-Ready Technologies and Design

The series will adopt "The Art of Resonance" design philosophy, aiming to create a harmonious balance between the environment, society, and users. The Honda 0 Series is set to include an advanced driver-assist system (ADAS) based on the Honda SENSING Elite technology, with plans to further develop automated driving technologies in the latter part of the 2020s.

The series will focus on connected technologies, featuring a proprietary operating system that adapts to user preferences and behavior, thus enhancing the ownership experience. Emphasizing aerodynamic performance and battery efficiency, the vehicles will be equipped with e-Axles for optimal power and efficiency, coupled with a high-density battery for extended range.
